A table is a table... right?
There are plenty of options out there. Honestly, you could probably spend $100 and fill the need. A couple swipes and a click, you could have it in 2 days.
Why would anybody spend $1000, $2000,$3000?! AND wait weeks?
Okay... hear me out. $1000 is roughly $2.70 per day, over the course of a year.
But, what does that $2.70 buy in a decade? Who knows if you’ll even be here by then?!
Well, let’s say you’re not. But that table, it is. It’s your son’s now. Or your daughter’s.
They hung onto it, after all, it was your favorite piece. You had it custom made. It’s almost like a part of you, that they get to visit every day. It’s kind of like you’re still here.
And on those days, when it’s been hard just to keep going.. and they can’t just pick up the phone and call you, at least they can sit down there, feel that old hardwood, and the memory you left imbued in those knots and grain.
